Dragonwilds Agility Course Locations
Find all six Dragonwilds Agility courses, learn their level and movement requirements, and plan efficient Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medal runs.
Last updated: 2026-08-25
RuneScape: Dragonwilds currently has six Agility courses spread across Ashenfall. Each begins at a flag-marked course station, sends you through a fixed trail of orbs, and records completion times for repeat attempts. Courses award Agility XP and regional reward packs, while mastery contributes Gold Medals and gilded regional cape trims.
All Agility courses at a glance
| Course | Region | Reported requirement | Where to look |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chasm Dash | Brynmoor | Agility 1 | Large lake north of Temple Woods |
| Thunder Assault | Ghornfell | Agility 15 | Stormtouched Highlands |
| Fractured Ruins | Ghornfell | Agility 15 | North of Whispering Swamp |
| Grave Run | Fellhollow | Agility 30 | West of Dragon's Run |
| Tower Climb | Dowdun Reach | Agility 51 | Beside the Library and nearby Kebbit Burrows |
| Lava Fields | Umbral Sands | Agility 60 | Boundary of Manafem Plains and Burning Spire |
The station tooltip and live Skills menu are the final authority for requirements. Course thresholds, target times, and rewards can be adjusted without changing the surrounding landmark.
Chasm Dash location
Region: Brynmoor
Landmark: the large lake north of Temple Woods
Recommended first attempt: immediately after unlocking Agility
Chasm Dash is the introductory course and the best place to learn the format. Find the flag station beside the lake, activate the run, and follow the orb trail rather than trying to predict the shortest route on the first lap.
For an efficient repeat:
- clear nearby inventory weight;
- place food and utility away from movement keys;
- learn where the route changes elevation;
- finish a safe Bronze lap before chasing Gold;
- use the course for early focused XP between normal quest legs.
This course requires no late-game region access, so discovering it early prevents passive running from being your only Agility training method.
Thunder Assault location
Region: Ghornfell
Landmark: Stormtouched Highlands
Reported requirement: Agility 15 with Windstep and Double Jump
Thunder Assault uses Ghornfell's height and storm-touched terrain. Approach from an unlocked regional Lodestone and look for the flag station before climbing around the landmark at random.
Practise the movement sequence outside the timed attempt. Windstep and the second jump should be deliberate inputs, not emergency corrections after overshooting a platform. If a missed orb forces a long backtrack, restart and treat the failed lap as route learning.
Fractured Ruins location
Region: Ghornfell
Landmark: north of Whispering Swamp
Reported requirement: Agility 15 with Windstep and Double Jump
Fractured Ruins is the second Ghornfell course. The surrounding ruins can make the course station blend into other exploration markers, so search north of the swamp for the flag rather than following the swamp floor.
This is a useful alternative when Thunder Assault's route is inconsistent. Compare complete-lap time and failure rate: the technically faster course is not better XP if half the attempts end in a missed platform.
Grave Run location
Region: Fellhollow
Landmark: west of Dragon's Run
Reported requirement: Agility 30 with Windstep and Double Jump
Grave Run sits in a region where Wither exposure and hostile travel can consume supplies before training begins. Unlock a nearby recovery route and arrive cleansed, rested, and lightly loaded.
The course is a natural stop during Fellhollow questing, mount progression, and Steel-tier preparation. Discover the flag during ordinary exploration, then return specifically for repeated laps instead of mixing timed attempts with a full resource inventory.
Tower Climb location
Region: Dowdun Reach
Landmark: beside the Library, near Kebbit Burrows
Reported requirement: Agility 51 with Windstep, Air Dash, and Double Jump
Tower Climb is the most explicitly vertical course before the desert. Locate the Library first, then search beside it for the station. The nearby Kebbit Burrow network can shorten repeat access once its routes are opened.
Camera control matters as much as speed. Point toward the next landing before committing to a dash, and avoid adding unnecessary mid-air corrections. A repeatable Silver route is the right foundation for Gold.
Lava Fields location
Region: Umbral Sands
Landmark: where Manafem Plains meets Burning Spire
Reported requirement: Agility 60 with Air Dash and Double Jump
Lava Fields is the current final course and offers the largest reported XP rewards. The journey to it still involves desert hazards, so carry water, use shade, and establish a safe return point before turning it into a training loop.
Do not begin with a damaged high-value loadout or a full boss inventory. Course training needs movement consistency, while Burning Spire travel needs heat and terrain planning. Separate those jobs whenever possible.
Fastest way to level with courses
Use the highest course you can complete consistently, not automatically the highest one you can enter.
- Run on foot during short quests and resource routes for passive XP.
- Discover every course station as its region opens.
- Repeat a lower course until movement unlocks make the next route reliable.
- Learn the orb path before optimising corners.
- Restart early after a major miss instead of finishing a ruined record attempt.
- Alternate focused laps with ordinary progression to avoid unnecessary travel.
Mount travel does not award passive Agility XP. Ride for long, already-cleared crossings; run when scouting, gathering, or moving between nearby objectives.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold strategy
Treat medals as three separate goals:
- Bronze: learn the complete route without missing an orb.
- Silver: remove stops, hesitation, and obvious backtracking.
- Gold: optimise movement abilities and landing angles after the route is stable.
Record which obstacle ends most attempts and practise that transition. Randomly running the full course again is slower than fixing one repeated failure.
Course not starting or completing
- Confirm the course's Agility level and movement unlocks in the Skills menu.
- Interact with the flag station before collecting orbs.
- Follow every orb; reaching the end does not compensate for a skipped checkpoint.
- Clear nearby combat if interaction is blocked.
- Restart after a missed orb appears unreachable.
- Reload the world if the station remains inactive after meeting the requirements.
For passive bonuses, Kebbit shortcuts, carry-weight milestones, Windstep, Air Dash, Double Jump, and Recall, continue with the main Agility guide. Track progress locally with the Skill Tracker.
